#R160, $5.00 Surcharge on $5.00 Dark blue, overprint reading up, used right margin imprint and plate no. 137 strip of three, with large sheet-selvage, largely affixed
to the original backing, bright color, light 1899 red c.d.s. handstamps of Wilson & Co., Pittsburgh, minor flaws in the selvage only, fine; this is the only recorded imprint and plate number multiple.
#R189, $50.00 Gray surcharged with
open numeral "50", used with violet straightline "May 21 1901" cancellation, bright and fresh, fine.

mint block of six (3x2), radiant rich color, o.g., h.r. reinforcements, fine-very fine; scarce multiple.
#R224, $60.00 Brown, without gum as issued, well centered and
margined, fresh and very fine.
#RB3ad, 3c Green and black on violet paper, Center Inverted, deep intense colors and impressions, light blue handstamp cancels, corner crease at bottom left and a
couple minor repairs, fine appearance; there are only eight recorded copies of this stamp, of these eight, four are repaired, one has a corner missing, and three have faults, the only one that could be classified as sound is the ex-Zoellner
copy, though that has short/nibbed perfs. at top; the Scott catalog value is for a copy with small faults.
#RF9j, 7c on 2c Blue, "A.D." overprint reading down, deep color, "10-4-1917 7 CENTS A.D." three line surcharge, still with full o.g., top left corner missing, an extraordinarily rare
variety that is listed but not priced in Scott.

Collector's certificate of tax payment of distilled spirits for shipment in tank cars, 192x241mm stamp certifying payment of $154,537.20 in tax on 17,170.8 proof
gallons of distilled spirits, signed and dated "Jan 24, 1951", very fine; choice condition for this rarely seen Tax Paid revenue; only a few of the approximately 85,000 stamps printed with serial numbers have survived; ex-Tolman.
