Washington, D.C., Feb. 1, 1926 handstamped first day cancel, Nickles
addressed, fresh and very fine.
#UX40 var., 2c on 1c Green, double surcharge,
inverted surcharge and double surcharge, one inverted, all three of the
surcharge errors, mint, inverted surcharge with printing on reverse, a very
fine trio (USPCC #S58-1b, S58-1f, S58-1g).
#UX41 var., 2c on 1c Green on buff, with split
surcharge at top and bottom, mint card, fresh and crisp, extremely
fine; a scarce error that is unlisted in Scott (USPCC #S57j).
#UX44b, 2c Fipex with dark violet blue ovpt.
omitted, unused, addressed, very fine.
#UX47 var., "One Cent/Additional/Paid" surcharge on
2c Carmine, inverted surcharge at bottom left, with General Electric
advertising on back and hole punch at left as all known examples have, very
fine; a seldom offered error (UPSCC #S64-2f).
#UX48 var., 4c Lincoln, paste-up, with printing
over central vertical tape, very fine; the only recorded paste-up
example of this card; (USPCC #S66APUv; unpriced).
#UX48a var., 4c Lincoln, tagged, paste-up, with
printing over vertical tape at left, very fine; one of two recorded
paste-ups of this card; (USPCC #S66cPUv; unpriced).
#UX51b, 4c Social Security, with blue omitted,
mint card, light creasing, otherwise very fine.
#UX57b, 5c Weather Vane, with blue omitted, mint
card, wonderfully fresh, very fine and scarce.

#UX58 var., 6c Paul Revere, paste-up, with
vertical paste-up tape and an additional horizontal tape with the design
printed on top, very fine; not only is this the only recorded "double
tape" example of this card, it is the only known "double tape" example of
any postal card.
#UX58a, 6c Paul Revere, double impression, mint
card with impressions at left and right, fresh and very fine.
#UX61a, 6c Gloucester, Mass., with address side
completely blank, mint card, a fresh and extremely fine example of this
scarce error.
#UX66 var., 8c Samuel Adams, paste-up, with
printing over central vertical tape, very fine; this is the only
recorded paste-up example of this card; (USPCC #S83APUv; unpriced).
#UX120c, 15c Buffalo, normal printing on front, black
and blue only printed on reverse, mint card, very fresh, extremely
fine; a very scarce error.
#UY5m, 1c Blue message card, two examples on the
top right and top left of a large card flown on a Zeppelin flight,
with 65c Zeppelin (#C13) tied by machine cancel (also tied the right
indicia), proper cachets and backstamps, adhesive with some toning, card
with minor corner creases, very fine appearance; a most unusual usage of
the postal card.
#UZ1, 1c Black official, unused, with printed
address and printed form on back as all known examples have, faint trace of
a crease, otherwise very fine.
#R88a, $5.00 Charter Party, imperforate, a gem
used single that possesses huge margins all around, rich color and a strong
