Spec. DS8), cancelled by Maltese Cross in black, showing origin d.s. and "New York / Ship" c.d.s. (2.11) in red adjacent, rated "32" then changed to "39 1/2", stamp with large to just touched margins (a little rough at left) and has a diagonal crease at lower right culminating in a tear, nevertheless a fine and rare forwarded trans-Atlantic cover with a remarkable, and believed to be unique, single franking of the 1840 line engraved issue; 1990 RPS certificate.
