copyright horizontal pair, o.g., n.h., very fine.
#2484c, 29c Wood Duck, booklet pane of ten,
imperforate between vertically, o.g., n.h., very fine; according to
Datz, only 20 panes have been reported.
#2485b, 29c Wood Duck, vertical pair, imperforate
between, the error caused by a foldover in the booklet pane, resulting
in two extra stamps at top, o.g., n.h., very fine; an immensely rare error,
with no more than three examples having been recorded; listed but
unpriced in both Scott and Datz; 1994 PSE certificate; ex-Weisman.
#2491b, 29c Pine Cone, horizontal pair, no die
cutting between, strip of three, the two right stamps being the error
pair, with full backing, very fine; a seldom seen error that is listed but
unpriced in both Scott and Datz.
#2505b, 25c Indian Headdresses, booklet pane of ten,
engraved black omitted, one such pane in a complete booklet with a
normal pane, o.g., n.h., very fine; one of the rarest of all the modern
booklet pane errors, with only three panes found to date, and at
least one of those has been broken up for singles; 2001 PF certificate.
#2513a, 25c Dwight Eisenhower, imperforate,
choice left sheet-margin horizontal pair with marginal inscription, large
margins all around, o.g., n.h., extremely fine; only twenty pairs recorded
according to Datz; 1992 PF certificate.
#2523d, 29c Flag over Mount Rushmore coil, lenz
paper, plate no. 2 and no. 6 strips of five, fresh, o.g., n.h., very
fine.
#2528e, 29c Flag and Olympic rings, imperforate
horizontally, vertical pair, centered to the right as are all known
examples, o.g., n.h., fine; a very rare error; 2001 PF certificate
incorrectly identifying it as a #2528c.
#2540 var., $2.90 Eagle, black (engraved)
omitted, rather striking color omitted error that removes the dark
shading from head and the eye, this is a legitimate error, not the
printer's waste mentioned in Scott, o.g., n.h., trivial internal paper
wrinkle, according to Datz all but three of the reported twenty stamps have
faults from mishandling, this is so trivial that this may be one of the
three considered to be sound, still very fine and scarce (Datz #CO 175B;
unpriced).
#2567c, 29c Matzeliger, imperforate, horizontal
pair, large margins, o.g., n.h., extremely fine; 1996 PF certificate.
#2595d, 29c Eagle and Shield, booklet pane of
seventeen, no die cutting, fresh unfolded pane with full backing
(unlike many of the panes which are faulty or folded), extremely fine and
very scarce.
#2759b, 29c Sporting Horses se-tenant block of four,
engraved black omitted, o.g., n.h., very fine and scarce.
#2764c, 29c Flowers booklet pane of five,
imperforate, still in the original booklet, o.g., n.h., light booklet
bend as always, very fine; no more than twenty panes exist.
#2782c, 29c National Postal Museum se-tenant block,
imperforate, bottom right plate no. 55155 block of four, o.g., n.h.,
fingerprint on gum and trivial wrinkles in bottom margin only, very fine;
this is the unique plate block from the only known imperforate
sheet; unpriced as a plate block, cataloged as a normal block.
#2833b, 29c Flowers, booklet pane of five,
imperforate, with tab at left, lightly folded between second and third
stamp as always, o.g., n.h., very fine; only 16-20 panes reported.
#2866b, 29c Wonders of the Sea se-tenant block,
imperforate, left margin copyright block of four, o.g., n.h., extremely
fine; a very scarce and colorful error.
