Exhibition issue, even a couple of covers for the "Graf Zeppelin II", all

Sieger #5A, 1912 Copenhagen Flight of the "Hansa" (LZ
13), 10o Deep rose tied by "Kjobenhaven/19. 9.12." c.d.s. to a cover
posted to Harlev, Denmark, violet on-board cachet of the "Hansa" on that
date, backstamped, faint edge creasing, very fine; the "Hansa", like the
"Schwaben", "Viktoria Luise" and "Sashen", made numerous flights around
Germany from 1912 to 1914 until the onset of World War I, this
international flight to Copenhagen early in her career is the sole
exception to her normal domestic itinerary, it was actually a trial flight
for a planned service between Denmark and Germany that never materialized,
certainly one of the key pioneer Zeppelin flights with postings from both
Germany and Denmark, this latter by far the rarer; 1997 Sieger BPP
certificate (Sieger €3,000; Michel #13Ec).(Image)
