Glassell and the Little Torpedo Boat "DAVID", with Correspondence, being a privately printed self written book, only 24 pages plus appendix ,including ,drawings of same, ,about William Thornton Glassell(1851-1879) and the Confederate Torpedo Boat he created and battle it was in where it attacked the 'New Ironsides', there are also numerous letters from the family several signed by him, one of his relatives was married to George S. Patton and there is additional correspondence from throughout the family including address to his wife c/o Col. Geo S. Patton, a real treasure trove for someone with time to reasearch this more thoroughly, letters in mixed condition(just good to VF), Book is in excellent condition and may be one of only few ever produced.
