1904, April 10, well traveled cover to England franked with damaged Cape of Good Hope 1d Edw VII, original enclosure from A. Repetto datelined "Tristan D’acunha April / 10 / 04" giving thanks for seed sent plus discussion of general matters and noting that "…passing ships are in great scarcity…" and "…would be very glad to have a news from the world…", Fine overall, scarce pre-cachet period cover which could have possibly been carried by the Norwegian ship Flora which arrived the day before, ex-Davidson. 1906, July, hand made cachet on ppc addressed to Glasgow, circle (probably drawn around a coin) with ms. "TRISTAN DA CUNHA" and dated "Ju. 6 06.", to Scotland traveling via Australia and acquiring assorted transit and due markings plus an ms. "Glasgow / 29th , Oct 06", card with typical postal wear from travel, Fine and very rare as only 30 items were dispatched in this early sending of mail from settlers who had only recently arrived on the Surrey. 1908, December (?), very strong strike of type I cachet in blackish-violet on cover to Glasgow, ms. "Tristan De Anchuna", Cape Town DE 25 1908 transit c.d.s., two different due markings, cover faults incl edge tears (some sealed) and portion backflap torn away, VG-Fine, very early mail deposited during the visit of the American Whaler Canton which arrived 19 December, Pictured in Crabb, p. 158. 1909 (January?), strong strike of type I cachet in violet on cover addressed to St. Helena by way of Western Australia where 1903 2d yellow affixed and tied by Bunbury FE 22 09 "B" duplex, St. Helena "C" AP 20 09 arrival cds, roughly opened at top leaving some small tears and removal of most of the backflap, sill Fine and rare, from mail on the Norwegian whaler Eldessides, ex-Cole (Image)
1909, May 3, uncacheted cover addressed to a US Navy Sub Lieut c/o the Royal Indian Marine in Bombay and forwarded to Bushire, ms. endorsed "from Tristan D’Acunha", Cape Town JU 11 09 cds (where mail was landed), octagonal "T / 10c" and large "1D" due markings (latter cancelled out by black obliterator), backstamped Bombay (4 different) and Durban, cover with some light staining and some faults at top incl reinforcement and most of backflap missing, still Fine and rare, with letter from John Glass datelined 3 May 1909, carried on the Schooner Greyhound which visited Tristan 27 August, ex-Cole (Image)

JU 3 08 cds with cachet below, 1918 to London with GB 2d due tied by London cds with add’l London machine cancel, finally an unfranked undated cover to Claremont So.
