pane of six, a remarkable group of 33 mint panes, virtually all of
which are different, collected by the plethora of shades in which these are
found, in addition to die types and positions (several of the latter
include a number of elusive positions, including plate number examples), we
also note two panes displaying the rare horizontal watermark errors, and
the group concludes with a few used panes, such as two completely intact
panes and three without selvage tab (one of which is used on cover); all
mint panes with o.g., hinging ranges from h.r. to n.h., an occasional small
fault will be found, but most are fine-very fine or better; a collection
which took years to assemble. |

Schermack Ty. III perforations (#314), a vertical pair of the 2c
Hudson-Fulton imperforate commemoratives (#373) and two 1c Green singles
(#405; one overlapping top edge of cover), all tied by grid postmarks,
matching "Pine Lawn, Mo./Jul 30, 1913" postmarks on reverse, addressed to
Chicago, Ill. and backstamped, couple of stamps with small faults (partial
filing hole affects on #405), overall fine and striking; a very rare
franking with the Brinkerhoff stamps (a single on cover catalogs $500.00
alone); one of the most important of the known covers franked with
