balance of the multicolored or all-over advertising cover collection,
twelve items, all franked with 1902-03 Regular issues (mostly 2c
"Shields"), each having been selected for their exceptional eye appeal, two
(Bartels Brewing Co. and Templin's "Ideal" Seeds & Plants) are gorgeous
advertising cards, while the rest are covers, includes three gun or
ammunition designs (one in a sepia tone only), others include food and
fruit designs, moving company (on an unusual long envelope with repeating
design), "Cremo" cigar (black design), etc., condition is unusually nice
for these striking and better designs, very fine.

1909 Alaska-Yukon Pacific Exposition picture postcard by immensely
rare and distinctive "Seattle, Wash./Jun 23, 1909/Exposition Station" flag
cancellation, with "Alaska-Yukon Pacific/Exposition" lettering incorporated
into flag' stripes, card depicts a scene looking down Yukon Avenue at the
Exposition and is addressed to Orland, Ind., stamp with natural s.e. at
top, very fine; one of the most important Exposition covers known, as
this card bears one of only two recorded Alaska-Yukon flag cancellations;
ex-Bowmar, Ladin and Payne.

position A, a magnificent and extraordinarily rare used example, being in a
condition that would be impressive for a mint pane, let alone an impossibly
difficult used example, featuring outstanding centering and margins
throughout, gloriously rich color and impression on immaculate paper, light
unobtrusive strikes of Philadelphia, Pa. double oval postmarks, extremely
fine gem; a remarkable booklet pane rarity; one of only two used
examples of this booklet pane that have been certified as genuine by the
Philatelic Foundation; 1997 PF certificate.

slightly reduced at right, very fine; complete booklet panes used on cover
are enormously rare and desirable, particularly when used
contemporaneously; this being the only example of a #300b booklet pane used
